The Central Park Plunge 2021

Are you ready to take The Plunge?

The Fiona Wood Foundation are one of nine charities selected to be part of the 2021 Central Park Plunge. The Central Park Plunge is a 220 metre abseil down the Central Park Tower to support burns patients.

The recovery process for a burn injury can be long and painful. The research and projects we fund are dedicated to improving outcomes for burn patients and their rehabilitation. Although the 220 metre abseil can be challenging, especially for those with a fear of heights, overcoming a burn injury is both a physical and mental challenge. We are asking you to take up the challenge in support of burn patients who face even greater challenges every day of their recovery.

This experience will be a one in a lifetime opportunity for you and will ultimately make a difference to the lives of burns patients by supporting programs and treatments that improve their recovery.

How to get involved:

  • Save the date - Friday 12 November 2021 (PM)
