A Central Park Plunge thank you!

The Fiona Wood Foundation extends its heartfelt gratitude to the 47 remarkable participants who embraced the challenge and took part in the Central Park Plunge 2023. Their courage and commitment to making a difference in the lives of burn patients have left an indelible mark, as seen in our fundraising tally, which today has reached a phenomenal $82,413.78!

But that's not where it ends! This year, the generous donations received from the plunge will be used to develop visual-based resources, which will be designed to enhance our burn prevention and education programs and research efforts. We want to ensure that we enhance health literacy for children, their families, and the broader community – these projects will have a lasting impact.

To us, the Central Park Plunge is not just an event. It is a special opportunity to connect, share stories, and strengthen the bonds of our community. We had a fantastic day, and we want express our thanks and appreciation to each and every participant, as well as their supporters, for making this event a memorable and heartwarming experience.

The journey of the Fiona Wood Foundation is a shared one, and it is your unwavering support and participation that empowers us to continue making a meaningful difference in the lives of burn patients, both now and in the future. Together, we are creating a brighter, more resilient tomorrow.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Zenith Events for their continued partnership and for inviting us to participate in the Central Park Plunge, which has once again been a resounding success. Their commitment to designing, owning, and managing events with a charitable focus has made a significant impact in helping us to make a difference.

Thank you to everyone for being part of our journey toward scarless healing in mind and body.
